Telecom Field Technician

Job overview

The Telecom Field Technician role is onsite in Colorado City, TX, with extensive travel to other locations as project needs require. The stated pay range is $22–$28 per hour. Vero Broadband works to bring reliable, affordable fiber broadband to underserved communities and support local connectivity, including for schools and rural healthcare. The technician handles field activity on Vero’s broadband network, installing and testing customer services and maintaining and repairing equipment. The role helps deliver reliable service by resolving network issues and coordinating with engineering, technical support, and service delivery teams.

What you'll do

• Install and test new residential and business customer services
• splice fiber
• troubleshoot and resolve network outages and issues
• read and interpret network diagrams or detailed instructions
• operate a company vehicle safely
• coordinate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Service Delivery
• provide customer service
• work outdoors and at elevations as required.
