Claims Specialist Team Lead

What you'll do

• Train and mentor claims staff
• review staff work and provide performance feedback
• support workload distribution
• review variances and write-offs for accuracy
• conduct monthly quality assessments
• maintain reports and records
• identify financial exposure and payer risks
• monitor billing exception reports
• complete nonstandard billing transactions as needed
• educate staff on payer-specific processing and reimbursement rules
• suggest process improvements.
