The Optometrist – Full Time, No Weekends role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with compensation of $65–$80 per hour. The position is with a well-established private OD/MD practice and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 4.5 or 5 days per week, generally 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with one day per week from 9 a.m.–6:30 p.m. The optometrist provides routine and medical eye care, seeing three to four patients per hour with support from a team of one physician and two to three optometrists. The role contributes to patient care using the practice’s diagnostic technology and may provide specialty contact lens services if desired.

What you'll do

• Provide routine and medical optometry care
• see approximately three to four patients per hour
• work with the OD/MD team and support staff
• use practice technology including OCT, Humphrey Visual Fields, corneal topography, IOL Masters, and EMR
• specialty contact lens work is available if desired.
