Laser Operator (Night Shift)

Laser Operator (Night Shift) is an onsite position in Tea, SD, with hours from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with a stated $2.00 shift differential. The role supports DeGeest’s metal fabrication production workflows. The operator prepares and cuts parts and materials so they can move accurately and efficiently to welding and other downstream fabrication stages. The work also includes equipment care, material movement and safe production support.

What you'll do

• Operate laser cutting and other fabrication equipment, including brake presses and benders
• prepare parts by cutting, grinding and drilling
• stage materials for welding
• perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning
• use forklifts to move materials and load or unload trucks
• ensure parts are prepared accurately for the next production stage.
