Job overview

The Resident Aid role is onsite in Acton, CA. Pay is $17.50–$22 per hour. The position supports residents and the treatment team at Bright Mission Recovery’s detox and residential substance-use facility.

What you'll do

  • Supervise residents with clinical staff
  • assist with admissions, orientation, and discharge
  • conduct scheduled rounds and security checks
  • support residents in recovery
  • maintain resident rooms and facility cleanliness
  • accompany residents off-unit and drive them to meetings when needed
  • document observations
  • observe and document self-administration of medication and prepare controlled-medication handoffs
  • and prepare meals during the shift.
