Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) — On-Call Nights and Weekends

What you'll do

• Remain available by telephone and email during assigned shifts
• conduct urgent physical and psychosocial assessments
• provide nursing care and pain and symptom management
• guide patients and families regarding diagnosis, medications, treatments, and progress
• document care
• communicate changes and needs to physicians
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary group, vendors, hospitals, and community residential staff
• complete after-hours hospice admissions as necessary
• visit patients wherever they call home.

Why this role
