Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant role is hybrid in Lowell, MA. The salary range is $80,000–$85,000 per year. UTEC’s mission is to support young adults affected by violence and poverty through workforce development, education, mental health services, and case management.

What you'll do

• Lead assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• manage complex balance-sheet reconciliations
• prepare and review journal entries
• support financial statement analysis, revenue accounting, accounts payable, treasury, payroll backup, fixed assets, subsidiary reporting, and audits
• identify control and documentation improvements
• support Sage Intacct workflows and provide technical guidance to Staff Accountants.
