CNC Mill Machinist, Aerospace and Defense

The CNC Mill Machinist works onsite in Sumner, WA. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour. The role is a direct-hire opportunity with an aerospace and defense manufacturer. The machinist sets up and operates CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet quality and efficiency standards. The work supports manufacturing through in-process inspection, troubleshooting, accurate setup documentation, and coordination with production and tooling teams.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• operate manual mills as needed
• produce precision components
• monitor machine performance and output
• assist with tooling and fixturing
• inspect work using precision measuring instruments
• troubleshoot machining issues
• update setup documentation
• follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
