What you'll do

• Collect blood specimens, including pediatric and geriatric draws
• prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• explain procedures to patients and create a professional, reassuring interaction
• verify patient demographic information and confirm tube labels with the patient after venipuncture
• perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing
• maintain records and documentation
• work at patient service centers or in-office locations as assigned.
