The Volunteer Services Coordinator, Hospice role is onsite in Longview, TX, with coverage of Longview and surrounding areas. Compensation is $20–$27 per hour. The role supports AccentCare’s hospice care team and its commitment to exceptional care for patients and their communities. The coordinator organizes and supports hospice volunteers so their work can address patient and organizational needs. The role maintains volunteer records, supports recruitment and training, coordinates volunteer assignments and recognition, and works with the Director of Patient Experience to develop the volunteer program.

What you'll do

• Maintain volunteer lists, availability, assignments, time, and personnel records
• participate in volunteer recruitment and screening interviews
• coordinate volunteer training and ongoing education with the Director of Patient Experience
• coordinate volunteers not involved in direct patient care
• help develop and implement the volunteer program
• coordinate recognition activities
• assign volunteers to teams and provide information to support patient needs.
