Business Development Representative, Beverage Distribution

Job overview

The Business Development Representative role is onsite in Sandston, VA, with compensation described as a $55,000–$70,000 total compensation package inclusive of base salary and bonuses. Specialty Beverage distributes domestic, import, and craft beers, ciders, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to customers across Virginia. The representative develops new accounts and customer relationships, promotes product placements, and executes sales and marketing initiatives. The role supports territory growth by managing prospects, customer visits, supplier programs, and sales activity through to distribution and placement.

What you'll do

• Prospect and cold call target accounts
• develop customer relationships and new account opportunities
• increase product placements and repeat business
• execute sales and marketing initiatives, promotions, displays, and features
• maintain customer visit and prospecting schedules
• support supplier programs
• track sales activity and territory growth
• handle product, delivery, service, and pricing inquiries
• support accounts receivable collection efforts
• maintain sales records and reports.

Why this role
