Sanitation Worker – Third Shift

The Sanitation Worker – Third Shift role is onsite in Waukegan, IL. Pay is $18.50–$23 per hour, with eligibility for an annual bonus under the incentive program. Woodland Foods’ sanitation department cleans production equipment and facilities to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements. The worker cleans and sanitizes production areas and equipment, supports equipment breakdown and reassembly, and maintains sanitation records. The role helps keep the production area clean, compliant, and ready for inspection.

What you'll do

• Perform sanitation cleaning under current procedures
• break down and reassemble manufacturing equipment
• wash down or dry-clean equipment as specified
• clean production and non-production areas
• identify hazards and equipment needing attention
• participate in deep-cleaning projects
• operate balers, riding scrubbers, and scissor lifts safely
• maintain sanitation records
• ensure equipment passes pre-operation inspection
• use chemicals and PPE safely
• perform janitorial and groundskeeping tasks as assigned.
