Senior Mechanical Designer

Job overview

The Senior Mechanical Designer role is remote and may be located anywhere in the United States. Compensation is not specified. The designer develops detailed facility and site drawings for pipeline and facility projects, translating project instructions and design packages into complete deliverables. The role coordinates with drafters and applies project specifications, file structures, and industry and client standards to support engineering project execution.

What you'll do

• Develop facility and site design drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D
• prepare station grids, key plans, sheets, title blocks, notes, and details
• create annotations and dimensions for plot plans, details, and schematics
• create 2D drawings from 3D models
• use point clouds to model existing conditions
• develop designs from P&ID packages
• coordinate with drafters to assemble project deliverables
• follow project file structures, specifications, and industry and client standards.
