What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead
• prepare monthly cost variance analysis
• reconcile inventory accounts and conduct physical inventory counts
• analyze production costs and recommend cost improvements
• prepare cost-related journal entries
• support month-end and year-end close, budgets, and forecasts
• maintain bill of materials and routing data in the ERP system
• collaborate with operations, purchasing, and production
• support audits
• document cost accounting procedures
• provide financial and operational analysis.
