Electrical Commissioning Supervisor

The Electrical Commissioning Supervisor role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA; compensation is not specified. Matrix PDM Engineering works across power generation, industrial, renewable energy, LNG, and balance-of-plant facilities. The supervisor plans and leads electrical testing and commissioning so systems can be safely energized and placed into service. The role coordinates technicians, subcontractors, vendors, construction, operations, and engineering teams, while managing procedures, schedules, testing records, deficiencies, and turnover documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop energization, shutdown, and restoration procedures
• lead medium- and low-voltage commissioning
• direct technicians and subcontractors
• review electrical drawings and protection requirements
• coordinate checks and system testing
• support LOTO and system boundary management
• manage schedules, meetings, punch lists, test records, and turnover packages
• support operator training, startup, performance testing, and reliability runs
• assist with estimates
• travel to customer and vendor meetings as required.
