Assembly Group Leader — C Shift

Compensation is $17–$22 per hour. The Assembly Group Leader — C Shift role is onsite in Hopkinsville, KY; Martinrea is a global automotive supplier that designs, develops, and manufactures automotive modules, fluid management systems, and aluminum products. The group leader directs and develops production associates to meet manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements. The role coordinates schedules and resources, supports product launches, solves production problems, and drives continuous improvement on the production floor.

What you'll do

• Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate associates
• meet daily manufacturing requirements and customer demands
• ensure quality standards
• maintain a clean and safe work environment
• coordinate schedules with Production Control
• coordinate raw materials, work in process, supplies, and staffing with cross-functional teams
• meet financial goals
• support defect-free, on-time product launches
• identify improvements
• ensure safety and environmental compliance
• report daily scrap
• solve production problems and promote teamwork.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of college or equivalent experience, three to five years in manufacturing, knowledge of welding, metal stamping/forming, or paint operations, and automotive manufacturing experience. Work is 20% office and 80% plant floor; overtime may be required.
