Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Chippewa Falls, WI, with compensation of $21.00–$22.00 per hour. The technician supports Chippewa River Industries’ facility maintenance needs and reports to the Maintenance Lead. The role maintains and repairs facilities, production equipment, and grounds so they remain safe and operational. It also supports production efficiency through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and workplace accommodations.

What you'll do

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs involving plumbing, heating, electrical, refrigeration, facility, and production equipment
• complete preventive and routine maintenance
• perform light carpentry and custodial work as needed
• maintain maintenance, pest-control, and housekeeping records
• handle groundskeeping, lawn care, and snow removal
• design and manufacture jigs and workplace accommodations
• serve as a backup emergency-monitoring contact and backup truck driver when requested.
