Industrial Facilities Technician

Job overview

The Industrial Facilities Technician role is onsite in Burley, ID, with pay of $45–$50 per hour. The technician supports plant operations by maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and other utility equipment. The role exists to keep facility equipment operating safely and reduce downtime. The technician monitors systems, responds to alarms and breakdowns, performs routine maintenance and repairs, and documents work for the maintenance team.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers
• maintain and repair boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and other utility equipment
• check equipment readings and respond to alarms or breakdowns
• troubleshoot equipment problems
• follow ammonia safety and Process Safety Management requirements
• complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team.
