Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is an onsite role based in Berthoud, CO, with compensation of $180,000–$220,000 per year. This position supports the production and manufacturing operations at Ursa Major. The role exists to scale production of aerospace and defense propulsion systems. It contributes to the company's goals by implementing industrial engineering principles, building high-performing teams, and ensuring safe, high-rate manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Lead and build the production team
• scale manufacturing from conceptual design to high-rate production
• set standards for capacity modeling
• influence ERP and MES deployment
• implement novel manufacturing methods
• drive continuous improvement
• collaborate with engineering and facilities teams
• define and track performance metrics.
