Through individual and small-group assistance, the role reinforces teacher-led learning and helps students participate and progress.

What you'll do

• Take attendance and maintain student work files, folders, and behavior charts
• prepare and organize classroom materials
• supervise lunch, recess, and student transitions as assigned
• support whole-group instruction and classroom behavior expectations
• lead or assist small-group activities
• work one-on-one with students
• monitor understanding and share observations with the lead teacher
• assist with classroom technology and teacher-planned lessons as requested.
