Head Pastry Chef

Job overview

The Head Pastry Chef role is onsite in Saint George, UT, with morning and daytime availability required and shifts starting as early as 4 AM or earlier; compensation is $15–$17 per hour. Kneaders Bakery & Cafe locations are closed every Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The chef leads a pastry team producing a menu of more than 40 baked items, using recipes and quality standards to prepare pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins with whole ingredients while supporting customer service and food safety.

What you'll do

• Lead a pastry team
• follow recipes and prepare and decorate pastries and baked goods
• manage inventory and ordering
• comply with food-handler and sanitation regulations
• lift supplies weighing 50 pounds or more
• remain standing and walking throughout shifts.
