The Local Class A CDL Driver is an onsite role based in Romeoville, IL. Compensation is $38.70 per hour, supporting the last-mile distribution operations for food service industry customers at Quality Custom Distribution. This role exists to ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to restaurant customers. Drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailers on local routes, managing touch-freight, and maintaining accurate DOT documentation to keep the supply chain running efficiently.

What you'll do

• Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailers on local routes.
• Deliver food products safely to restaurant customers.
• Perform touch-freight loading and unloading using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
• Complete vehicle inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and store personnel.
