• maintain tested and observable backends
• contribute frontend architecture and reusable components
• build search indexing and query services
• integrate vector databases
• instrument search metrics and experimentation
• champion CI/CD, testing, and observability
• lead design sessions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
