Thrift Store Associate

The Thrift Store Associate role is onsite in Greenville, SC. Compensation is $12–$14 per hour. The position supports Miracle Hill Ministries’ thrift store operations. Miracle Hill describes its mission as serving people experiencing homelessness as they move toward independence, stability, and healthy relationships. The role exists to process donated goods for sale and support store operations across receiving, processing, sales-floor, fitting-room, and checkout areas. It contributes to an orderly shopping experience while supporting the ministry’s services through thrift-store work.

What you'll do

• Receive donations courteously
• sort, price, and stage donated goods
• assist with loading and unloading
• rotate crates
• greet customers and donors
• process sales and maintain the register
• answer phones and make announcements
• keep work areas and the store clean and organized
• follow safety procedures
• operate a pallet jack or forklift if certified
• share the ministry’s faith and pray with or for people served as described in the posting.
