The Warehouse Management System Specialist role is onsite in Sanford, NC, working in both an office environment and on the warehouse floor as needed. Compensation is not specified. The specialist keeps the Warehouse Management System (WMS) functioning effectively, supports users, and investigates system and inventory issues. By training employees, reinforcing warehouse procedures, and identifying process improvements, the role helps warehouse teams maintain accurate inventory and support customer service.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary contact for WMS questions, troubleshooting, and user support
• maintain WMS users, settings, workflows, locations, labels, barcodes, QR codes, and system data
• troubleshoot WMS and BisTrack ERP communication and transaction issues
• investigate inventory discrepancies and exception reports
• partner with warehouse operations on root causes and corrective actions
• support inventory accuracy through audits and transaction reviews
• reinforce warehouse procedures
• train employees
• maintain work instructions and training materials
• generate reports and analyze trends
• support process improvements
• collaborate with warehouse leadership, inventory control, purchasing, receiving, IT, and supply chain teams
• make occasional warehouse-floor visits
• follow safety policies and operational standards.
