What you'll do

• Lead electrical design and technical review of power transformers
• calculate impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems
• use transformer design and analytical software
• participate in customer design review meetings
• review specifications for compliance with IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and customer requirements
• support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field investigations
• mentor junior engineers.
