The Underground Shotcrete Nozzleman role is onsite at a mining site 65 miles outside Elko, Nevada. Compensation is $38 per hour. The nozzleman operates shotcrete equipment to apply ground support to underground headings, backs, and walls according to specifications and safety procedures. The work supports safe mine development through equipment preparation and inspection, material and application checks, routine maintenance, and related underground support tasks.

What you'll do

• Operate a Normet Spraymec MF050 to mix, transport, and apply shotcrete according to ground-support designs
• prepare and inspect equipment
• control spray thickness and coverage and monitor material quality
• clean and maintain equipment
• follow mine-site safety and PPE requirements
• operate mining equipment as needed
• assist with underground infrastructure installation, modification, and repairs
• complete equipment pre-checks and shift reports
• report problems to the shift supervisor
• maintain housekeeping and comply with QA/QC requirements.
