What you'll do

• Care for, feed, monitor, and medicate animals
• perform minor treatment
• report health or behavior concerns
• clean assigned areas daily
• assist prospective clients with animal selection
• advise new owners about examinations, adoption benefits, policies, and procedures
• provide information about SPCA programs and responsible pet ownership
• maintain supplies and equipment
• protect confidential customer and donor information
• engage with volunteers.

Why this role

Normally scheduled five days per week, eight hours per day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. May be required to work more than eight hours in a day or 40 hours in a week. Driving duties may apply if the employee meets the organization’s driver requirements.
