The Northeast Field Service Technician – Water Technologies is a remote, travel-based position supporting the Northeast Region, with primary coverage in Boston and New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire; candidates must reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island. Compensation is $33.00–$40.00 per hour. Veolia Water Tech supports solutions addressing water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy challenges. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates laboratory water purification systems at customer sites. The role helps ensure reliable equipment performance and responsive customer service through preventive maintenance, repairs, customer training, documentation, and coordination with technical support, sales, and operations.

What you'll do

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, software updates, and operational verification
• diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures
• complete service and calibration documentation
• prepare quotations and manage maintenance agreement opportunities
• train customers
• respond to emergency service requests
• maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and vehicle
• comply with safety policies
• participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
• collaborate with technical support and engineering.
