Assistant Baker

The Assistant Baker role is onsite in Troy, MI, with compensation of $15–$16 per hour. The assistant partners with the Baker to produce cakes consistently and meet production demands for Nothing Bundt Cakes guests. The role supports the baking process by preparing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, monitoring baking, and handling packaging and storage. Following recipes and food-safety standards helps maintain product quality and an orderly production flow.

What you'll do

• Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods
• use measuring instruments, mixers, ovens and other tools
• prepare ingredients and equipment
• place cake pans in ovens and monitor baking
• support daily production flow
• package, label, store and rotate products
• maintain baking and refrigeration logs
• clean, sanitize and restock the workstation
• follow health, safety, dress and hygiene standards.
