What you'll do

• Plan and direct dietary department operations
• establish and maintain dietary policies and procedures
• supervise food and kitchen supply ordering, receiving, storage, preparation, and service
• manage staffing, scheduling, training, and records
• monitor food and labor costs
• assess resident preferences and nutritional needs
• ensure therapeutic and mechanically altered diets are provided
• coordinate with nursing and other departments
• and participate in care planning and quality meetings.
