Regional Referral & Community Engagement Coordinator

Job overview

The Regional Referral & Community Engagement Coordinator is a part-time, field-based role centered in Ahoskie, NC, with outreach across the stated regional territory. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The role supports TSGBH’s efforts to grow services and connect appropriate prospective clients with intake. The coordinator develops recurring referral relationships through in-person outreach, follow-up, and community engagement. Tracking referral activity and reporting service gaps helps build a qualified pipeline while ensuring outreach follows company, Medicaid, privacy, ethical, and legal requirements.

What you'll do

• Visit approved healthcare offices, community organizations, agencies, businesses, nonprofits, faith organizations, and referral sources
• conduct professional in-person and door-to-door outreach to approved organizations and locations
• explain TSGBH services
• build referral relationships
• make follow-up calls and emails
• attend approved community events
• help prospective clients connect with intake
• track outreach, meetings, follow-ups, referral sources, and qualified referrals
• report service gaps, waitlists, unmet needs, and competitor information.
