Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician role is onsite in the Waco, TX area; pay is $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. The technician supports a manufacturing operation by maintaining production machinery and facility-support equipment. The technician diagnoses and repairs integrated mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and control systems. Preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment testing, and accurate repair records help sustain production operations and equipment reliability.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• diagnose and repair integrated equipment failures
• maintain automated machinery, CNC equipment, robotic welding systems, conveyors, cranes, and material-handling equipment
• troubleshoot controls, sensors, drives, PLC-related faults, and fluid systems
• perform alignment, calibration, testing, installation, and startup support
• document repairs and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Why this role

Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Temp-to-hire; five or more years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred, and integrated electromechanical troubleshooting experience is required.
