Main Service Technician — Subaru

The Main Service Technician role is onsite in Wilmington, NC; compensation is not specified. The position supports Wilmington Auto Group’s Subaru service team and customer vehicle repairs. The role contributes to customer satisfaction and shop performance through maintenance, advanced diagnostics, clear repair documentation, safety practices, and ongoing Subaru and ASE certification progress.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using Subaru tools and service information
• perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, brake, and electrical repairs
• complete scheduled maintenance, inspections, warranty, recall, and technical bulletin work
• verify repairs through road tests and quality checks
• document repair orders
• communicate findings and time needs to service advisors
• manage assigned work and flagged hours
• resolve repeat repairs
• complete Subaru training and maintain ASE and Subaru certifications
• follow OSHA, environmental, and dealership safety requirements
• maintain an organized work bay and support newer technicians as needed.
