Direct Care Counselor – Residential

Job overview

The Direct Care Counselor – Residential role is onsite in Carver, MA. Compensation is up to $19 per hour, dependent on experience, education, availability, and skills. Delta-T Group refers professionals to client opportunities in social services and behavioral health. The role provides care and support to adults with developmental disabilities and mental health or medical challenges in a residential setting. Counselors reinforce personal care, community living, communication, and socialization skills, support person-centered goals, and maintain required documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide care and support to adults with developmental disabilities and mental health and/or medical challenges
• instruct and reinforce personal care and hygiene, community living, communication, and socialization skills
• implement person-centered activities and goals
• maintain accurate and timely progress notes and reports meeting state and federal requirements
• transport residents as needed with a valid driver’s license.

Why this role

Client requires at least one year of experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a healthcare setting; First Aid/CPR and other certifications may be required; Map Certification is a plus. Flexible scheduling and weekly compensation are described.
