The CNC Operator role is an onsite, full-time position in Houston, TX, with hours of 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role exists to set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and mills. It contributes to efficient, safe production that meets drawing specifications while reducing setup downtime, tooling costs, and scrap.

What you'll do

• Prepare machines and tooling for changeovers
• inspect first-run components using precision measuring instruments against blueprint specifications
• complete initial piece inspections and obtain second-signature verification
• isolate non-conforming materials and work with operators to identify root causes
• ensure setup carts contain required fixtures, gauges, process sheets, and instructions
• review manufacturing process sheets and report discrepancies to engineering.

Why this role
