Leasing Representative

Job overview

The Leasing Representative role is hybrid in Washington, DC. Compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year in base salary, plus variable compensation including commission and bonus. The role supports DLC Management Corp.'s portfolio of open-air retail shopping centers. The representative develops and executes leasing plans for assigned properties, identifying prospective tenants and moving lease opportunities from initial proposals through opening. The work contributes to property leasing goals by building retailer and broker relationships, negotiating agreements, and supporting budgets and marketing strategies.

What you'll do

• Identify prospective tenants through cold calling and canvassing
• build relationships with local and national retailers and real estate brokers
• draft and negotiate new lease and renewal proposals
• contribute to annual leasing budgets
• develop and implement property leasing and marketing strategies
• monitor market conditions, rents, and competing centers
• move deals from LOI to grand opening.
