Shift Manager

The Shift Manager role is onsite in Oakland, CA, with an hourly wage of $21–$23.10. The position supports Burger King restaurant operations under the direction of the Restaurant Manager. The manager oversees shift execution and team members to maintain service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. The role also supports restaurant performance through cost control, shift administration, and, at higher levels, inventory and food-order management.

What you'll do

• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and company procedures
• uphold food quality, sanitation, and customer service standards
• manage costs including cash, food, labor, and supplies
• set up cash registers and support smooth shift transitions
• supervise and direct team members
• train team members when requested
• complete shift reports and documentation
• conduct operational walk-throughs
• enforce safety and security procedures. Higher shift levels include inventory processes, food orders, staffing adjustments, and mentoring junior Shift Managers.
