The Purchaser, Industrial Construction role is hybrid in Houston, TX, with two to three office days per week and a Monday–Friday, eight-hour schedule. The stated pay is $28 per hour. The purchaser sources materials, equipment, tools, and subcontracted services and coordinates purchasing with project teams. The role helps maintain project schedules and budgets through vendor coordination, delivery tracking, accurate records, and cost control.

What you'll do

• Source and purchase materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services for MEP scopes
• solicit and evaluate quotes
• negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• maintain purchase orders and vendor records
• coordinate needs with project managers and superintendents
• track deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• monitor pricing and supplier performance
• reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receipts with Accounting
• assist with inventory, warehouse coordination, and procurement audits.
