What you'll do

• Communicates clients’ status, changes in condition, and care plan needs to family members, staff, and other professionals.
• Performs occupational therapy procedures as delegated and supervised by a qualified occupational therapist in the client's residence.
• Assists clients with mobility and instructs them in pushing wheelchairs and positioning.
• Assists clients with slings, splints, and self-help devices to achieve physical independence.
• Observes clients for signs of distress and maintains accurate clinical records.

What we're looking for

Education

Certified as an occupational therapy assistant by AOTA

Experience

1 year of occupational therapy assistant experience (preferred)
