The Controller role is hybrid in the Twin Cities Metro Area, MN, with a stated base salary range of $135,000–$165,000 plus bonus opportunity. The Controller leads accounting and financial management, strengthening reporting, construction accounting, cash management, and financial processes. The role partners with senior leadership to inform business decisions and support organizational growth through accurate financial insight and operational improvements.

What you'll do

• Lead monthly and annual close and prepare GAAP financial statements
• maintain internal controls
• coordinate audits
• manage WIP schedules, job costing, and project reporting
• lead budgeting and forecasting
• manage cash flow and working capital
• oversee payroll and benefits processes
• coordinate tax and external reporting
• lead and mentor accounting staff
• improve finance systems and processes through technology and automation.
