Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in Jefferson City, TN, and surrounding areas, providing in-home care at client residences. Pay starts at $15 per hour, increases to $16 per hour after 200 hours worked, and may reach $19 per hour for short shifts and call-in shifts. The role supports Right at Home’s work helping clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged at home. The caregiver provides one-on-one assistance and companionship according to individualized care plans, while observing and communicating changes in clients’ well-being and documenting care.

What you'll do

• Depending on client needs and care plans, assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers
• provide medication reminders, meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, and laundry
• offer companionship and emotional support
• assist with errands, shopping, appointments, and approved transportation when applicable
• observe and report changes in condition
• and complete required care documentation. Complete company orientation, caregiver training, and ongoing in-service education.
