Job overview
Mental Health Registered Nurse, Home Health, PRN is an onsite home-health role based in Martin, TN, covering Weakley County. The schedule is PRN, and compensation is $35–$45 per hour. Adoration Home Health provides patient-centered care in the home. The nurse assesses patients, helps develop and carry out plans of care, manages medical and behavioral health needs, and educates patients and families about medications and care. This work supports safe, coordinated care and helps patients and caregivers manage treatment at home.
What you'll do
- Conduct initial assessment visits and help develop plans of care with the patient’s physician or allowed practitioner and Clinical Manager
- manage medical illness per the plan of care and perform psychobiological interventions
- review medications and educate patients and caregivers
- provide written materials
- evaluate medication compliance and administer IM or IV medication
- assess crises and potential self-harm or harm to others and refer to treating physicians as needed
- provide skilled-nursing teaching and training.
