What you'll do

• Provide compassionate patient care
• greet patients and owners, escort them to exam rooms, and record weights and vital signs
• triage patients and perform exams, treatments, and medication administration as directed by licensed veterinary technicians
• calm and restrain patients
• assist with medications
• perform laboratory tests and radiographs
• operate and maintain hospital equipment
• fill prescriptions and maintain controlled-drug records
• feed and monitor patients
• communicate with clients
• clean and maintain the hospital, equipment, kennels, and facilities
• maintain accurate medical records
• follow safety and wellness regulations.
