The Teacher role is onsite in Woodbridge, NJ, with compensation of $16–$17 per hour. The teacher creates a safe, welcoming classroom where young children can learn, play, and grow. The role implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, communicates with families about children’s progress, and partners with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Create an engaging classroom for young children
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to each child’s needs
• maintain a safe and nurturing environment
• communicate children’s achievements to parents through mobile apps and personal discussions
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals
• build relationships with families and coworkers.

Why this role

At least six months of professional teaching experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required; college early childhood education coursework and CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
