What you'll do

• Evaluate prescriptions and visual requirements
• sell contact lenses, spectacles, sunglasses, and related eye-care goods
• assist with corneal measurements and contact lens fittings
• teach patients lens insertion, removal, and care
• help triage and over-refract patients
• schedule and perform contact lens checkups
• determine current lens prescriptions when needed
• order lenses
• verify vision and medical insurance.
