Personal Trainer

The Personal Trainer role is onsite in Waipahu, HI. Pay is $26–$33.50 per hour. The YMCA of Honolulu provides fitness and wellness programming for members. The trainer assesses members’ fitness and develops individualized programs based on their goals and current fitness levels. The role supports member health and engagement through training, general wellness education, customer service, and safe use of the facility.

What you'll do

• Conduct fitness assessments and orientations
• create individualized workout programs
• collect required paperwork and track completed sessions
• communicate with clients
• provide general health and wellness education and only general nutrition information unless otherwise qualified
• submit weekly training logs
• support facility coverage and membership desk needs
• respond to emergencies with CPR/First Aid and complete incident reports
• maintain required certifications and follow child protection guidelines.
