Machine Operator — Fin Tube Milling

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Wheeling, Illinois, with two listed schedule options: Monday–Wednesday, 11 p.m.–7 a.m., plus Saturday and Sunday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.; or Thursday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., plus Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Base pay is $21.00 per hour. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloys. The operator sets up and runs Fin Tube machines, inspects production, records quality and material data, and troubleshoots production issues. The work supports accurate production of customer-specified products while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Fin Tube machines to meet customer drawing tolerances and finishing requirements
• inspect in-process material and report nonconforming material
• maintain a clean and safe workplace and use required protective equipment
• record quality data, scrap counts, and material usage
• troubleshoot production issues as instructed
• operate an overhead crane as needed.
