Senior Database Administrator

Job overview

The Senior Database Administrator role is hybrid in Taylor, TX, with two to three days in the office; remote work will not be considered. The stated base pay range is $75–$81 per hour. The role supports grid and market systems in a regulated environment.

What you'll do

• Administer SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases
• troubleshoot outages, performance issues, replication failures, backup exceptions, and availability events. Manage Oracle GoldenGate replication, high availability and disaster recovery, monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, patching, security updates, upgrades, schema changes, access reviews, and compliance evidence. Develop automation with scripting tools, manage ServiceNow incidents and changes, maintain operational documentation, support capacity planning and site switchover exercises, and contribute to post-mortems and cross-training.
