What you'll do

• Facilitate on-the-job training on safe and correct equipment use
• read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• set up machines
• monitor operation for material defects or malfunctions
• measure material dimensions
• perform minor maintenance such as lubrication and changing female knives
• prepare production reports, SPC charts, roll tickets, and inventory tags
• complete work orders
• participate in safety programs and follow plant safety rules.
